1. When you write an offer: Writing an offer takes more than simply finding a place you like, deciding a price, and having the agent submit it. This approach will only lead to frustration and failure, which is why a good agent will do a number of things to improve your offer. An agent such as myself will do a full value report to help you understand the property’s pricing, letting you know whether the home is overpriced, underpriced, or fairly priced. I’ll also help you discover the seller’s motives, whether it’s money, time, or other terms. Additionally, I’ll learn all I can about your competitors to help you stand out. After we submit the offer, I will negotiate fiercely in order to get your offer accepted.

2. After inspection: The inspection might discover some issues with the house. It takes a strong agent to fight for your best interests by negotiating repairs, lowering the purchase price, and asking the seller to cover closing costs.
