Why you'd want to live in Lower Queen Anne (Northwest Seattle)
The neighborhood of Lower Queen Anne (also sometimes referred to as Uptown because of its large residential population) is one of most exciting, active and vibrant neighborhoods in Seattle. It’s rich in historical architecture, home to popular tech companies, and is also right next door to iconic Seattle landmarks like the Space Needle. Here you’ll find upscale condos, block after block of classically-styled multiunit residences, visible water views, as well as KeyArena, Exhibition Hall, McCaw Hall and Bagley Wright Theater. If you’re a foodie, then Lower Queen Anne will not disappoint with its over 100+ restaurants, bars and fast-food locations. Local favorites include Dick’s Drive-In, Mecca Café and Pagliacci Pizza. Although there are a number of retail shops located in Lower Queen Anne, just a short visit up the hill to Upper Queen Anne reveals an even more populated shopping district as well.
